25 Days of Christmas - Day 3 (2017)

Today K and I went to the nutcracker tea with my Mandy, Amelia, Evelyn, and Sandee.  We had a fabulous time and will likely make this a yearly tradition.  Noah and J had some fun together too I'm sure.

25 Days of Christmas - Day 2 (2017)

Day 2 was a fun one.  Plans for today were to go to the festival of lights at Powell Gardens.  This is a new event and I was excited to try it out.  It was a lot of fun.  There was quite a few free crafts.  We made lanterns and 3 different types of ornaments.  We paid extra for a barrel train ride, hot chocolate and popcorn.  Then it was time to walk through the lights.  It was done very well and I really enjoyed it.  The kids had fun but were a bit tired by the end of the walk.

Also earlier in the say the kids really wanted to make paper snowflakes.  So we added that on to our day and I think they turned out nice.

25 Day of Christmas - Day 1 (2017)

Day 1 is a new pair of Christmas Jammie which is perfect since both the kiddos are sick and stayed home from school.  I also have some extra activities this year that I didn't schedule in case something doesn't work out or some of the stuff is from last year so it's more of an add on.  So today since the kids were bored I got out a new Christmas book and a usborne winter activity pack that we have had for a few years.

Christmas kick off!

Tomorrow starts our 25 days of Christmas.   I had to do a lot of planning to fit in fun activities around school, taekwondo, and basketball.  I'm excited for this year though.  It should be fun.  We decorated on Thanksgiving this year and had our traditional eggnog, Christmas scent, and Christmas music. 

Fall Fun

OK it has been too long since I blogged.  We had such a fun fall.  We went to Deanna rose pumpkin hollow and Faulkners ranch.  I was a room mom for the kids class Halloween party.  Went to our first class birthday party.  Went to Haunt the halls at school.  Trick or treated in the freezing cold! I successfully cochaired the grandparents breakfast at the kids school and we had a low key Thanksgiving.  Family, friends and fun are what life is all about!

2 packed lunches this week with only 1 picture.  Tuesday we did our next letter 'F' , Wednesday I didn't take a picture but it was a bologna sandwich, popcorn, pineapple and cantelope.  K was sick and stayed home on Friday so it threw me off a bit.
