25 Days of Christmas - Day 4 (2016)

Today we went to Target for the kids to pick out a new ornament.  We do this every year (I picked them out when they were too little) and I love this tradition because what they pick always reflects what they are in to that year.  I write their name and the year and plan to give them all of their ornaments at some point when they are adults though I may have a hard time letting them go.  This year K picked out a shopkins ornament and Noah picked out an Angry birds one.

25 Days of Christmas - Day 3 (2016)

Today we went to see Moana!  It was such a good movie.  I highly recommend it!  The kids ate tons of popcorn, candy, and pop and enjoyed every second.  Jason's review "I liked it better then Frozen because I don't like watching cold things".  Moana's landscape did look more inviting.  :)

25 Days of Christmas - Day 2 (2016)

Today we put up our felt tree.  This is a tradition we do every year.  Our decorations are getting pretty beat up so I may need to replace next year.  I would love to say the kids are having tons of fun so far but in reality the kids are acting disappointed in my 25 days ideas this year.  They did eventually decorate and I got a few pictures.

Buffy is keeping watch on the operation.

25 Days of Christmas - Day 1 (2016)

Day 1 this year is pretty easy.  After preschool I had new christmas clothes laid out for them so they can wear them all season.  They each got an outfit to wear to see santa, a fun character shirt (shopkins for K and starwars for Noah) and matching jammies.  I also got a pair of matching jammies for myself.  J did not get any because he would not have enjoyed them as much as us.  The kids also enjoyed their first chocolate out of their advent calendar!

Halloween

We had so much fun this year for Halloween! The kids chose to be pokemon this year.  K as Pikachu and Noah as Charizard!  J and I went as pokemon trainers.  The kids are at a wonderful age to enjoy trick-or-treating!

Who's Ready?!

I have not made as many blog posts as I would like but it is almost my favorite time of year and I am going to try to do the 25 days of Christmas again this year.   I am just recovering from surgery so I am going to try to keep it a bit more low key then in the past and try to have lots of fun.  Who else loves Christmas?  What is your favorite thing to do during the Christmas season?
