25 Days of Christmas (2018) - Day 1

Day 1 is the introduction of our Advent calendars.  Hatchimals for K, Ninja turtles for Noah, Beer for J and I to share!

Summer Break 2018 - Week 7

 

 This week Kahlan had art camp.  So Noah and I had some mother/son time.  On monday we did a glitter art project, on Tuesday we went to the splash pad and shared a snow cone, Wednesday we made a trip to the farmers market for cinnamon rolls and a cantaloupe, Thursday we went to the library and Friday we had a hang out day.  We picked Kahlan up from art camp on Friday and headed to see Transylvania 3 .   They had been highly anticipating this movie and it didn't disappoint!

Summer Break 2018 -Week 6

This week was fourth of July week!  We did our annual tradition of fireworks shopping and eating at Freddy's then headed to the pool.  Had lots of fun swimming, eating, and doing fireworks. 

Summer Break 2018 - Week 5

This week we didn't follow any schedule. We still had a good time.  The kids finished swim lessons.  They did so well and are really progressing.  K loves swimming and wants to work toward being on a swim team.  Noah finished up Tball.  I think he enjoyed it and will want to do it again next year.  We worked on some house projects/chores.  We did another puzzle, read, and relaxed with TV.  We also had a blast at Chuck e cheese with J on Friday.

Summer Break 2018 - Week 4

This week we had swimming lessons in the morning and animal wonders camp in the afternoon.  In between most days we fit in an activity and lunch.

"Make it" Monday -  We went to Michaels to make a fun bear planter craft.  Then went to Panda express for lunch.

"Take a trip" Tuesday - we played at Harris park which is right next to swimming and had a picnic lunch.

"Wet and wild" Wednesday - it didn't happen!  After swim lessons the kids were cold and didn't want to do any more water things so we headed home and they had some relax time with the tv.  In the evening Noah had his taekwondo promotion!

"Thinking" Thursday -  We stopped at the library to exchange our book on cd.  Kids weren't ready to exchange their books because we just got them so it was a quick visit.  Then we stopped at best buy to pick up Minecraft on Nintendo switch for Noah.  He used a gift card for it and he's very excited.  We had lunch at McAlister's because it was free tea day!  Noah loves sweet tea, K hates it.

"Fun Friday"- We skipped swimming lessons because it was only 68 out.  The last 2 days the kids were so cold so I gave them a little break.  Because we have been go go go all week we just had a relaxing morning until camp.  We went out for a family dinner to one of J and the kids favorite restaurants Buffalo Wild Wings.
